ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Joyce L. Platt is a retired professional educator. She loves reading to children and treasures their responses. This Michigan native has a natural appreciation for evergreen trees. She was inspired to publish this book after learning that a Scotch pine was planted in memory of her World War II POW-MIA uncle.
Her phenomenal husband provides encouragement as well as editorial and proofreading help. While the next story brews in her mind, she can be found teaching line dancing, singing karaoke, traveling, or selling her handmade crosses at craft fairs. She resides somewhere deep in the heart of Texas.
